Dr. Ennis. I failed the portion of my last pre-employment physical where I had to balance on 1 foot for 30 seconds. I use a spring loaded balance pole and balance strap suspended from the doorway. It gives me some stability, but also makes me adjust more than using a wall mounted bar.

Im dealing with some wear and tear changes in my right ankle, confirmed by an mri. I was wondering if you've had some wear and tear ankle changes for a long time and can still manage to live an active and full life without overwhelming pain and the ankle clouding too many things.
Essentially I'm looking for inspiration regarding this ankle journey and to see examples of it being possible to live ones life without it clouding everything.

Question: how sturdy/healthy would the …any ankle need to be to do said exercises? (so that it doesnt hurt, naturally….. rather is there a limit of how long after an ankle injury one should wait before any exercises?)
