Fitfluencers sell their image as a brand, yes, but they actually do the content they do because they are certified trainers (at least the few that I know), not because they want to sell the idea that we can get their same body type. If you have an unhealthy relationship with your body and become obsessed with the fitfluencers' lifestyle, it will negatively affect you, of course. But in reality, most of the fitfluencers have a positive discourse towards the variety of body types, the importance of nourishing our body and feeling good. They are not nutritionists or doctors, they are certified trainers, and they help many people to avoid a sedentary lifestyle and keep motivated.

Chloe Ting is awesome! I have personally done many of her programs and she kicks my ass each time lol. Her website has so much information too and her workouts often have a modified version. I honestly think she is a rare influencer that means well and tries to help. Many women (including my friends and myself), love doing her workouts and have seen positive results in our bodies feeling stronger and less achy!
In mediterranean women can be thick slim. And everywhere you can find thick slim. But majority of women in the world are not rhick slim. BBL women only. Thanks
I got scammed by the Australian influencer Rachel Dillon 😭
I don't know any one else but I do PAM'S workouts and she is phenomenal! She's definitely not in it just for the glory.
if you are surprised about huge views, that's because every time you do the exercise you just put the same video on 🙂 well I have no illusions and did not get abs in 2 weeks, but certainly doing at least some exercises helps creating a routine. it was useful and not damaging for me.
I followed so so many of these influencers when I was struggling the most with my body. One of the first things I did when beginning recovery was deleting all my social media accounts and creating new ones where I only followed content that made me feel good. It really was such a game changer.
You mention Chloe Ting in the list of good fitness people to follow but literally majority of those video titles you show at the beginning are Chloe Ting’s videos…
Chloe’s fitness plans are for FREE plus she’s always been transparent about her bloating issues not to mention that she has been the main reason for me to have a better lifestyle and eating habits and get stronger overall, you’ve done pretty nasty by throwing her name between the other so to speak “unethical influencers”.
You are 100% correct
I'm an athlete and i have been doing lots to build up some muscle and i tried a lot of youtube workouts and i was never happy with my results and i constantly felt like i wasn't doing enough exercise. It made my body actually worse because i was starving myself. But i have actually created my own workouts for myslef and they are so much more effective.
Carolina Garvin is the goat !!!!
Also greens bloom product is a scam
Gym oxyshred scam
My biggest inspiration is Caroline Girvan. Love her workouts, integrity, quality of her videos, just love everything about her!
There's not enough honest conversation about body types! Your genetics/metabolism play a HUGE role in your body composition, so you're exactly right, some people simply cannot achieve the body these people have even with a healthy diet and proper exercise. Especially when these are people who naturally have a faster metabolism and lower body fat percentage compared to someone who doesn't. You simply cannot take advice from these people because your body is different than theirs and has different requirements even if your goal is to get more fit or lose weight. It takes lots of trial and error to figure out what works for you personally, which is why I don't like how they speak with such authority because what works for them does not work for everyone else. Especially if it involves insanely restrictive eating and intense workout regimens that are not sustainable!
they inspired me a lot and now I'm the healthiest and most in shape I could be BUT also they caused A LOT of body image issues to me. I had to unfollow most of them to fully recover
I do Spartan, and Tough Mudder races for fun. You get to meet a lot of these influencers at those events, and they are without question the most annoying, attention seeking people on this earth.
Am i the only one from Belgium ?
