forget workout, stop eating after 5pm, you can thank me in 5 years. Yes it takes 5 years wirh middle perfect BMI, i was always skinny but i think it takes more years than most have patience for, years are overdone but in extreme case it takes much time so take that as a motivation, never give up, you got this, the day you lose is the day you completely stop trying
Obese people do indeed eat more than the average person. This has been proven countless times.
i use to walk 8 miles a day and ate 2lbs of carne asada or pollo asada each night and in 60 days went from 357lbs-255lbs and messed up my knee because i would walk with my dog and i would walk the neighborhood and saw a small dirt hill that got really soft towards the top and i would sprint up it and when i would fall my dog would pull me to left every time so i constantly landed all weight on my left knee and one night i fell and started from the bottom again and when i went to stretch out my left leg it was stuck in a bent position and i found out real quick my knee was buckling up from falling so i held my breath and just 1-2-snap my leg back straight and heard a nice pop and my knee hasnt been the same since, i gained back to 305lbs-325lbs and i started going to the gym with my brother and walking max incline on the treadmill and slowly speed it the pace for walking a whole 60minutes and i started to diet better and my brother has been helping me out on that and im officially 265lbs as of this morning. pretty excited my clothes are slowly looking waaaay too big. im slowly starting to lift low weights with more sets and slowly gain arms core and chest alot more when i get closer to 230s so i dont look like a bowling ball and look like a person with muscle
Weight loss is simple , not easy !! It’s all in the calories no way around it
"When i turn my head you better be in a lab coat…cause youre talking about glycogen"
NGL im struggling alot I eat right and I exercise i havent lost anything i just have been bulking up what do i gave to do 😭
Too much carbs, sugar candy, sodas, junk food snacking 24/7 sitting on their flabby azz
calories in calories out this applies to 90% of these fat people
Also one trick is trying to build more muscle
It’s possible you just have to put in the work it is harder though
So americans are just sadly more prone to obesity and it's genetics? Because I don't see as many people from other countries who are fat compare to america.
What
I was 265 pounds at 12, and my mum didn’t understand why, trying to make me feel better all the time, and one day I said, mum, I’m just fat, I’m gonna do a diet, so I did
I lost 100 pounds in 2 months, and at the end of the day, people don’t know how many calories are in the food they eat, end of story
Im obese and to solve my obesity i just identified as a thin person.
Intent not to be preachy, just a few things I found helpful: Read food labels, limit processed foods and sugar, limit carbs, work in intermittent fasting (ex: 9pm to 12pm). Use healthy oils (olive, avocado), avoid food that says no fat or fat free, try to stick to water and black coffee.
I would disagree! They are eating more! They aren’t going to the gym, they are eating high sodium high carb high fat diet! They are fat and don’t do anything about it! Don’t give them a pass
Anotherone why tries to claim fat people dont eat different, yes they do
I lost 90 pounds in a year and a half. I cut out all processed food, meat and dairy. Off all medication’s and my blood work is flawless. I don’t buy that fat people can’t lose weight because of their genetics. the fact of the matter is in the United States some people think they’re eating healthy, but they are not
Legit anyone can lose weight I lost over 70kg all I did was made sure I did 6k to 10k steps a day some exercise in the house.

A large part of the problem I see is cultural. It’s in the way obese people are treated and looked at. I see movies with morbid obesity and it’s all jokes or disgust, disabilities, outcasting, vengeance, or death. It’s just a lot of depressing stuff. You know what I rarely see in the movies? Obese people pulling themselves together to change for the better, like joining a gym, going to over eaters anonymous, seeing a therapist, figuring out a diet plan, working out alone or with friends, having serious discussions with family, seeing a trainer or nutritionist, looking into bariatric surgery, looking into loose skin removal, researching and trying exercise equipment. What I’m saying is the health journey is mostly geared towards healthy and semi-healthy people, it’s rarely geared to the morbidly obese who truly need it. And that bias is seen as well in real life too. Not saying it’s the whole problem, just that it’s a good chunk of the problem I think. It doesn’t help. I think there should be a better representation of morbidly obese people striving to fix their problems on tv or in movies, maybe that would help somewhat.
Complete horseshit. I've always been a thicker kid. Brief periods of my life I got fat fat (35%bf) but with high LBM as I started lifting at 13 consistently through to my now mid 20s. I always had the victim mentality of "oh I have a slow metabolism, other's can eat so much and not gain weight". The reality is I ate a lot and didn't do enough activity. In the periods of my life where I ate far less and did more activity (funnily enough when I ate less I was stronger and more active), I was in good shape.
I will credit one thing to making me fatter than I should've been throughout my life – lifting weights. I always felt I hadn't eaten enough and I needed to eat more protein. What this resulted in was overeating and during periods where I was cutting to be unsuccessful as I was just overeating.
Moral of the story: eat less than you think you need, move more than you think you need.
Look, I'm not an expert, but it's calories in calories out period end of story, to say otherwise is to say the law of thermodynamics does not exist. Obese people CAN lose weight and I know because I have, claiming obese people can't is frankly undermining and in my opinion this Doctor is complicating a relatively uncomplicated subject, which only further reiterates in obese peoples mind that they can't lose weight because of all of these non-existent factors, when in reality it's likely you need to stop eating as many calories and exercise.
Yeah, now put a spine injury on top of that. I don’t eat more than everyone else. I am not a lazy person. I was never “skinny” but I was never “obese or MORBID obese”. Then one day coming home from my job at Apple Computer (20+ years ago when they had “Computer” in their name and no “Apple Stores”, I worked for the company) I got rear ended at a red light at an intersection waiting for it to turn green. I was not able to walk for a year. I laid in bed and screamed and cried from being in pain. I was now obese. Then I became morbid obese.
Then I got a little known drug at the time, Fentanyl. I was able to walk and I started losing weight. Seemed like my spine pain correlated with my weight, the less pain I was in the less weight I had on me. Then kids started dying from Fentanyl and it was taken away from me because Fentanyl now “causes pain” and it’s causing my pain, or something. Not my spine injury that I needed surgery on, but the Fentanyl was putting me back in unbearable pain….🙄
Drinking alcohol helps loses weight, along with stress and filling your stomach with water so much so you’re not hungry. Of course not healthy but effective
Scam artist
Joe picks THE best guests. Hands down.
Ok no sugar no carbs, work your butt off at the gym. Profit
Being fat is not fun lol. My brother calls me snacks, but i realized that quitting smoking weed was good for me because of the munchies!
Just lose 12punds a year!! Start with that!!!
ALL true – but it starts at 4 years old – 5-6-7 IF you program your children on empty calories – Sunny Delight and Ding Dongs – and allow them to sit on a gamebox for 6 hours – duh. Just look at the shopping carts in the store – Loaded with shyte,
I eat a lot of food ..sometimes I eat everything ..I was 92kg ..I figured out the only way for me to loose weight sense I love food is to walk 10km everyday and lift weights also cut sugar and lower carbs ..6 months later it’s working I’m now 85 kg ..but the process feels very slow ..my target is 81 kg
Nothing's easier than losing weight. You don't have to do anything. You don't even have to eat
A HUGE problem never addressed is the High Fructose Corn Syrup, it is in so much food now. They need to ban it and go back to sugar and Corn Syrup, so your body can process it….
As someone who is a beast , can confirm
