    I simply don’t do obliques bc I don’t want to be wider near the waistline. Most people’s goal is to be lean at the waist and wide at the top so I let my lats create width for me, not my obliques.

    See now you'll find that YouTube is filled with people trying to teach similar things but nobody comes close to this guy and that's purely because he has the actual knowledge that works behind bodybuilding I mean have you seen those degrees he has that pop up at the starting of every video.     Six pack abs are genetically pre-determined. The fullness of a particular muscle belly can only be changed so much. Ronnie Coleman had weak abs and he was an 8 time Mr. Olympia on steroids. People should be training for health and longevity, not 6 pack abs. People never cease to amaze me with their desire to impress others. It's pathetic…

    Here’s one exercise that works…twisting crunches on the floor with hands across the chest. Right elbow to the left hip. Left elbow to the right hip. Use the abs to drive the lower back into the floor and raise the hips and shoulder blades off the floor. Exhale on the exertion and pause for a moment to work on getting a cramp in the abs.
