I found the last few minutes of the video very helpful. The model in the black outfit described the three exercises quickly and done correctly. I wish you would not use the clown with the blue headband. Because whatever he’s doing is totally confusing. Thank you.
like the video… can't stand the bro on blue
No dumbbell pullover?
Why it gotta be for men over 40 im using this routine lol in my plan n im 36 lol
At 5:45 can I combine this motion with a triceps kickback to hit two groups in one set?
why is this for men over 40? im 36 and trained off and on but never seriously for multiple years in a row – aka definitely havent hit my natural potential. trying to get serious for a few years now before its too late – should i stop using barbells and switch to lighter loads aka dumbbells only ?
Thank you for sharing I got back into dumbbells with my son.
easily the BEST vid on the subject! Thanks! subbed/liked. (old Italiano cyclist/drummer here, who'd needs learn HOW to work-out the other muscles. 73. stay young 🙂 Heyyy…"musclemonster", how about future vidz for cyclists & drummers? Ever see how "weeny" most cyclists are, especially the pros? haaaa…. buddy, folks like us NEED to watch your fine vidz! buona fortuna
I'm going to try this now
All rows, vertical or horizontal dumbbells, cable or machine is for making the back and lats thicker. To build it wider you need to do some form of lat pulldowns by cable, machine or perform pull-ups and chin-ups. 3 dumbbell exercises alone won't create a balanced back. Sorry, this video gets 2 thumbs down. 👎👎
Another great video!
Am i crazy or did we just say the three best exercises are all dumbell row….☹
does anyone know why it says 'men over 40'? will the exercises be less beneficial to people under 40?
But what did it have to do with being over 40 or men? It got very scientific in some ways, but disregarded some of the major points entirely.
I dont have a bench, can i Do it with the support of my couch?
The evidence quoted is not relevant to the conclusions and advice. For example The row paper cited looked at barbell row versus inverted body weight row with chains versus one arm cable. It did not look at bent over dumbbell rows at the angle you described. Plus like most ‘research’ in this area it had a tiny sample size, 7 individuals whom were 27 average age all fairly uniform height and weight. So how can it be relevant to over 40 of all shapes and sizes.
The post is opinion not fact, which is by no means a critique, as coaching is based on wisdom and experience. Better to own your experience and wisdom that drop in citations that are not relevant to your conclusions, that’s just pseudoscience.
Thankfully clear and comprehensive narrative. Nice one.
HORRIBLE way to do those face pulls.
too long for 3 exercises, cut-off 'the science' crap
You are the man 👍
Old school bent over rows, seated rows, pull ups and shrugs. Tried and tested.
Truth is men are better off lifting heavy after 40. Take the first forty years of your life to get your diet down which is simple. Focus on Grass Fed saturated fat and get Sunlight. Shave your sideburns too. Sorry it's the truth only 35 here too.
Dumbbell rows with knee on the bench. Seriously?
Awesome! thanks man
THANK YOU!!!
The blue shirt guy has terrible form on every exercise he does.
You got yourself a new Sub! 💪💪💪
The guy with the blue headband is fucking hilarious. He really seems to enjoy deliberately fucking it up. An absolute legend. Cheers guys👍
